How the diversified models fit together

Shared foundations.
Different implementations.

Fundamental, Nexus, Asymmetric, Legacy, and Endowment share one investment framework. They differ in minimum investment, cost, investor qualifications, and implementation complexity.

ACCESS building blocks combine within the shared framework to form the five diversified models.

The diversified model family

Choose the implementation
that fits the client.

The underlying framework remains consistent. Select the model around the client’s capital, qualifications, liquidity needs, and capacity to manage complexity.

The most accessible models

Fundamental & Nexus

No K-1sNo subdocsNo capital calls

Diversified alternatives with streamlined implementation: no K-1s, no investment subscription documents, and no capital calls. Standard advisory and account-opening documentation still applies.

ModelImplementationAccess & considerations

Fundamental

The most accessible starting point in the diversified family.

Uses an RIA-accessible investment universe; accredited status is not a model-level requirement.

Nexus

Broader investment access with the same streamlined administration.

May include accredited-investor components; confirm the qualifications for the selected implementation.

The more complex models

Asymmetric, Legacy & Endowment

More complex investment structures can introduce K-1s, subscription documents, capital calls, and extended illiquidity, depending on the investments selected. Evaluate the client’s eligibility and ability to meet these demands.

ModelImplementationComplexity & considerations

Asymmetric

Introduces more complex private-market implementation.

May include illiquid investments, contingent liquidity, and capital commitments.

Legacy

Broader private-market implementation for clients with greater financial flexibility.

Higher complexity, with greater liquidity-planning, operational, and tax-reporting demands.

Endowment

The most complex implementation in the diversified family.

For eligible clients able to support substantial illiquidity, capital calls, and delayed reporting.

Minimum investment

Entry thresholds vary by model and the structures used.

Cost

Compare the model fee and total underlying investment and service costs.

Investor qualifications

Match each client to the eligibility requirements of the model and its holdings.

Complexity

Consider documentation, tax reporting, liquidity, and future funding obligations.

Read the published Form ADV for fees, minimums, investment approach, and risk disclosures. Applicable advisory agreements, strategy schedules, and investment documents establish the terms for each relationship. A simpler administrative structure does not eliminate investment risk or liquidity restrictions.

Separate custom mandates

Custom models.

For a specifically defined client or practice mandate.

Custom models and custom investment assignments are considered separately from the five diversified models. Their scope, investment parameters, restrictions, fees, and implementation requirements are established for the individual mandate.

Discuss the objective, client eligibility, and operational requirements with MHL TAMP before implementation.

Your client relationship.
Our defined mandate.

You determine the role of alternatives in the client’s overall plan and portfolio. MHL TAMP manages the assigned sleeve within the authorized model, investment guidelines, and client restrictions.

Client assets are held with a qualified custodian. Where E6 Portfolios provides platform, subadvisory, or operational services, those responsibilities and fees are defined in the applicable agreements.

01

Assess the client.

Evaluate objectives, liquidity, eligibility, time horizon, and the client’s ability to support the selected implementation.

02

Select the model.

Compare minimums, total costs, qualifications, and complexity within the shared eVision IPC framework.

03

Define the responsibilities.

Document the allocation, authorized mandate, custody arrangement, and each firm’s role before implementation.

Alternative investments can involve loss of principal, concentration, leverage, estimated valuations, and limited liquidity. Common ownership and separately charged advisory, platform, and investment costs require careful review of the applicable disclosures.

Advisor due diligence

Review the framework.
Confirm the terms.

Review MHL TAMP’s current published Form ADV for fees, minimum investment requirements, investment approach, risks, and conflicts. Request model schedules and agreements for your firm’s due diligence and client implementation process.

Registration does not imply a particular level of skill or training. Investment management does not eliminate the risk of loss.
